Folders allow you to consolidate collections from events or projects and share them together with one convenient link. This way, your clients can access and view their galleries in one organized space.

What can I use folders for?

If you work with repeat clients or do high volume photography, folders are a powerful tool for staying organized and sharing everything in one place.

Here are some ideas on how to use folders based on common photography workflows:

  • Event photography (sports, festivals, conferences): Organize collections by day, location, or team/artist and add them to one folder to help participants find the exact moment they are looking.

  • School or corporate photography: Add collections for different classes or departments into a folder. Students and employees can quickly navigate to their specific collection to find themselves.

  • Product photography: Consolidate a repeat client’s collections into a folder and share it with them, so they have one place to review all their past campaigns, product shoots, or promotions.

  • Photography with returning clients: Organize a client’s collections into respective folders so they have a single link to view all their past sessions. The next time the client books you, add the new collection to their folder so they can easily pick up where they left off.

Setting up a Folder

Set up a new folder for a client from your Collections page:

  1. Click ▼ next to New Collection and select New Folder from the dropdown menu to create your folder.

  2. Select applicable collections and click Move To in the action bar to move them into the folder. You can also create new collections within the folder itself.

You can manage your folder and its collections further from your Collections page. If you want to share the folder with a client, click ⋮ > Share to retrieve its direct link or QR code.

Client Side Experience

When you share a folder, your client will see the published collections organized for them to view. They can click on any collection to browse its photos within. If you make updates to the folder (e.g. adding new collections), they will reflect immediately for your client.

Note: If you want to implement privacy settings to a folder’s collections, you can add a unique password to each collection as needed. Just like with any collection, you can also choose to hide a folder from your homepage at any time.
