Sharing Client Galleries on your Website

Pixieset's Client Gallery is designed as a way for you to share dedicated photo galleries for each of your clients that they can download or purchase from. Pixieset Website is a single space to publicly showcase your work, and communicate with all potential clients. Even though these are two separate products, you can easily show the collections that are hosted in your Client Gallery on your Pixieset Website! In this article, we outline three ways that you can do this.

We also have a Sharing Client Galleries on your Pixieset Website - Video Tutorial to walk you through these available options.

Client Gallery Block

With our integrated client gallery blocks, you can display all your public client galleries as clickable thumbnails on a page of your Pixieset Website. Any privacy measures that you have applied to your client galleries, such as a Collection Password, will still be required when your visitors click on them.

1. To add a client gallery block to a page, hover over the content area that you'd like to add your block to, and click the green "+" icon that appears.

2. On the "Add Block" page that appears, click the Links category, scroll down to the client gallery blocks, and select the design that you'd like to add.

3. Once you have added a client gallery block, your public galleries will be shown as clickable thumbnails within this block. You can customize your client gallery block by clicking directly onto the block to bring up its settings in the left-hand Builder Panel.

Showing or hiding galleries in your Client Gallery Block

You can determine whether a published gallery appears in your Client Gallery Block by managing its Show on Homepage privacy setting. To do this, open the gallery in your Collections page, go to its Privacy Settings page (Settings > Privacy), where you can toggle this Show on Homepage option On or Off. You can read more on privacy options for your Collections here.

Note: If a gallery has the "Show on Homepage" option toggled "Off" in its privacy settings, it will also no longer appear in your Client Gallery Homepage.

Image Link Block

If you prefer to link to a specific client gallery, you can manually set this up with an image link block.

1. To add an image link block to a page, hover over the content area that you'd like to add your block to, and click the green "+" icon that appears.

2. On the "Add Block" page that appears, click the Links category, and choose any image link block. If you are looking to link to multiple galleries specifically, you can also consider using an image grid link block.

3. Once you have added your image link block to your page, click directly onto the block to bring up its settings in the left-hand Builder Panel. Under Image, upload the image that you'd like to use as the link block's image. Then, fill out the other available fields for the image link block, such as Title and Subtitle.

Uploading Client Gallery photos to content blocks

You can upload specific photos straight from your existing collections to your website content blocks. You can add your own photos to any content block that can display images, such as an image block or slideshow block. By default, these blocks will contain placeholder images, which you can replace by uploading your own photo to the block.

  1. Click on the applicable content block to reveal the uploader.

  2. Click Client Gallery to search your collections and select the photo you wish to use.

  3. Click Upload to use that photo for the content block.
