Pixieset Website offers a wide range of fonts to choose from so that you can easily select and customize the perfect font theme for your Website. This article will explain how to change fonts on your Website, adjust sizing and color, and further customize your fonts with advanced typography tools.

On this page:

Changing your Font

Get started by selecting a font theme for your site. Each theme includes complimentary font pairings, making it easy to create a beautiful design.

To change your font theme:

  1. At the top of your Builder Panel, click the Design icon and select Fonts.

  2. Click on your preferred theme to preview it in the Website Builder. You can also adjust your font size for your theme, which will proportionately change the size of all text on your Website.

Your selected font theme will be applied to your entire site and be preserved across website themes. Don’t forget to re-publish your site to push your font changes live.

Customizing your Font with Advanced Typography Tools

If you are subscribed to the upgraded Website Pro Plan or the Suite Pro or Ultimate Plan, you have access to advanced customization options like font weight, letter spacing, and font style.

Note: You will need to upgrade to one of the above plans to see advanced font customizations on your live site. If you are subscribed to the Website Free or Basic Plan or the Suite Starter Plan, you can only preview these font customizations in the Website Builder.

To preview or apply advanced font customizations:

  1. In your Website Builder, go to Design > Fonts and click the Edit icon on the font theme you want to customize.

  2. Click on the text type you would like to change (headings, paragraphs, etc.) and select which variation you would like to adjust (e.g. Heading 1).

  3. Choose your preferred font under font family and adjust it using the styling tools.

Note: Making changes to a text type (e.g. Heading 1) will update every block on each page of your Website that is using that text type.

Finding a Specific Font

We’ve curated hundreds of fonts for you to use. You can use the font browser to preview all the available fonts.

To find a specific font:

  1. In your Website Builder, go to Design > Fonts and click the Edit icon on the font theme you want to customize.

  2. Click on the text type you would like to change (headings, paragraphs, etc.) and select the text type you would like to adjust (e.g. Heading 1).

  3. In the Font Family section, click on the font name, then Browse all fonts. Use the search bar to locate your preferred font by name or filter by font type.

For best results, you should not use more than three fonts per font theme so your website’s loading speed isn’t impacted.

Note: Uploading custom fonts isn’t supported.

Resetting Font Style

To reset your entire font theme:

  1. In your Website Builder, go to the Design > Fonts and click the Edit icon on the font theme you want to reset.

  2. Click Reset Font Theme at the bottom.

To reset an individual text property that you have adjusted (e.g. Style), hover over the blue modified icon then click the x symbol.

Changing the Font Color

There are two options for changing font color:

  1. Using the text block toolbar: Highlight the text and use the toolbar to select your preferred color.

  2. Within a color scheme: If you have an upgraded Website Pro plan or a Suite Pro or Ultimate plan, you can set specific colors for text elements by editing the color scheme. This will apply to all blocks using that scheme. Click on the scheme’s pencil icon, then select your preferred colors.

Can I add more text to a content block?

Some content blocks have a character limit to ensure text can fit inside the design. Adjusting the font size won’t allow additional text to be added. If you cannot add all the text you need, consider trying a different type of block. Flex Blocks are a great option as they are fully customizable. Learn more about Flex Blocks here.
