Customizing your footer's appearance

You can instantly change the appearance of your website footer by switching to another footer layout design:

  1. From your Website Builder, hover over your Website's footer area. In the options that appear in the top-right hand corner, click Layout to shuffle between your available footer designs.

  2. Once you have selected a new footer design, click Publish to push all your new changes live.

Adjusting your footer text

By default, your Website will display your copyright at the bottom of your website's footer. If you'd like to change this text, you can easily edit it in your Block Settings.

  1. From your Website Builder, hover over your Website's footer area and click the Edit icon that appears in the top right hand corner.

  2. Under the Footer Text section that appears in the left-hand Builder Panel, you can modify your footer text.

  3. Once you have changed your footer text, click Publish to push all your new changes live.

Adding social links in your footer

By default, any social links (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) that you've added to your Profile Settings (Profile Icon > Profile) will appear in your website's footer. To add more social links:

  1. Hover over your Website's footer area and click the Edit icon that appears in the top right hand corner. Then, click Manage Social Links in the left-hand Builder Panel.

  2. This will take you to your Profile Settings page, where you can scroll down to the Social section to view your social links. Any changes that you make to your social links will automatically reflect on your published Website.

Hiding social links from your footer

If you prefer to hide the social links from your website footer instead, you can easily do so:

  1. Hover your Website's footer area and click the Edit icon that appears in the top right hand corner. Then, toggle Footer Social Links to Off.

  2. Click Publish to push your new changes live.

Connecting your Instagram Feed to your footer

Some website footer layouts display an Instagram Feed right in your footer! To connect your Instagram Feed to your Pixieset Website:

  1. Hover your Website's footer area and click the Edit icon that appears in the top right hand corner. Under Instagram Feed, click Add Account.

  2. You will be directed to Instagram where you will be prompted to login and grant access for Pixieset to link your Instagram Feed. Once granted, you will be redirected back to the Website Builder, where you will see your connected Instagram feed.

Note: You can also connect your Instagram Feed by going to Settings > Social. For more information on adding an Instagram Feed to your Pixieset Website, click here.

Displaying a specific page in your footer only

With certain footer layouts, your menu links are displayed in your Website's footer. If you would like to display a specific page, folder, or link in your footer menu without having it also appear in your header menu, you can definitely set this up! This is a great option for "Privacy Policy" or "Terms & Conditions" pages.

To display a specific page in your footer only:

  1. From your left-hand Builder Panel, hover over the applicable page, and click ••• (More) > Settings.

  2. In the Page Settings that appears, go to Menu Visibility and select Only show in footer from the dropdown menu.

  3. Once this is done, the page will appear in your website's footer menu only! If you'd like to re-arrange the page's placement in the footer menu, simply click and drag the page up and down the site menu in your left-hand Builder Panel.

  4. Click Publish to push your new changes live.
