If you’ve already started setting up Pixieset Payments, this guide will walk through the final steps. Most users complete the process in just 5–10 minutes.
To keep your payments secure and ensure you get paid without delays, Pixieset Payments and Stripe need to verify your business details. Providing accurate information upfront will help make the process quick and easy.
On this page:
Step 1: Business Type
Pixieset Payments requires accurate business information for verification. Here’s what you need to know about selecting your business type:

Industry
For photographers using Pixieset, select Personal Services: Photography Studios
Website
You will need to provide a website or social media link (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to verify your business. Make sure your site includes:
Your Business Name: It should match the name you provided during onboarding.
Your Services or Products: A clear description of what you offer (e.g. photography sessions, digital downloads, prints).
Contact Information: A way for customers to reach you (email, phone, or contact form).
Terms and Conditions: Including any relevant cancellation or refund policy
Active & Public Link: Ensure the link is accessible and not set to private.
Step 4: Bank Details
To receive payouts, you’ll need to link a valid bank account. Double check that the details match what is shown on your statement and that the name on the account matches what you have provided to Pixieset.
After You Submit: What to Expect
Stripe will review your information and usually completes verification within 24 hours, but it can take up to 3 business days. If anything’s missing or needs updating, you’ll be notified right in your Pixieset dashboard.
Understanding Onboarding Statuses:
Approved: You're ready to start getting paid.
More Information Needed: You may be asked to upload ID, confirm your website, or provide proof of business.
Payouts On Hold: You can collect payments, but payouts will be delayed until the requested information is reviewed.
Not Approved: Your account may not meet compliance requirements.
If additional information is requested
Depending on your business or country, Stripe may need to collect additional information to meet regulatory requirements. Here are some things you may be asked for:
Government-issued photo ID: Passport, driver's license, national ID
Proof of liveness: Selfie verification
Business registration documents: Such as incorporation documents, business license
Ownership structure: For companies with multiple owners
