You can use Custom Header/Footer code to add code snippets that you want applied across the site. They can be used for adding site analytics, meta data, or scripts for external services such as live chat support. It is not intended to be used for editing styles or adding content to your site.

Custom Header Code will be included on the ‘head’ tag on each page of your site, and Custom Footer Code will be included before the ‘body’ tag on each page.

If you are looking to add custom code to a specific part of a page, such as embedding a third-party contact form, you should use the Custom Embed Code Block. If you are looking to add a Facebook Pixel for tracking and analytics, this can be entered under Tracking & Analytics > Facebook Pixel

To add Custom Header/Footer Code:

  1. Click on the “Settings” icon at the top of the left editor panel for Settings > Advanced, or click here.

2. You should see two fields for Custom Header Code or Custom Footer Code. Simply copy & paste the code snippets to the appropriate field.

Custom header/footer code will not render in the editor view. You can click on “Preview” to see the changes or publish your site to see the changes live.

If you are running into technical difficulties with specific code snippets, it is best to reach out to where you originally got the code from. Unfortunately, we will not be able to help you troubleshoot these issues.

Custom header/footer code is an upgraded feature and will require a subscription to the Website Pro Plan, or the Pro or Ultimate Pixieset Suite plan.
