Collections in Client Gallery help you organize photos and videos for a specific client, event, or project. Within each collection, you can use sets to group content into smaller sections so clients can browse and find what they need more easily. For example, a wedding collection might include separate sets for getting ready, the ceremony, portraits, and the reception.
On this page:
Creating a collection
A collection is the main gallery where you upload, organize, and share photos or videos for a client. To create a new collection:
In Collections, click New Collection.
Enter a name for the collection.
(Optional) Select an event date or watermark.
Click Create Collection.
Tip: If you have a collection preset, you can apply it to quickly use your preferred collection settings.
Organizing photos and videos with sets
Sets let you organize the content inside a collection into smaller groups. This can make larger collections easier for clients to navigate, especially when the gallery includes different parts of an event, session, or project.
Click +Add Set.
Add a name and optionally a description.
Click Save.
Adding a set description
Set descriptions let you add helpful context or storytelling for clients. The description will appear at the top of the specific set.
To add a description to an existing collection set:
Hover over the set in the sidebar.
Click ••• > Edit set.
In the pop-up, add a description.
Click Save.
What’s next?
After creating your collection, you can continue customizing the gallery before sharing it with your client.
Start by uploading your client’s photos and videos into each set.
Review your collection’s design settings to adjust the gallery’s layout, cover, and overall appearance.
Review your collection’s privacy settings, such as adding a collection password, if you want to limit access.
Review your collection’s download settings to decide what options your client has when viewing the collection.
If you manage a larger project with multiple collections, consider adding the collection to a folder to keep everything in one place for your client.
When your collection is ready, share it with your client!
